Greenfair Silicon Valley
June 7-8th, 2008

When you drive over the hills and look down into the valley, what do you see? There lies a beautiful collection of cities that you call home. But, you also see the carbon footprint that 7 million Bay Area residents are leaving behind.
Going green is no longer a movement only followed by über-environmentalists; it is now a prominent trend inspiring millions of people to learn how to sustain this beautiful planet that we call home. Greenfair Silicon Valley is a critical tool for businesses and individuals to learn how they can decrease waste, increase efficiency, and transform their businesses, homes, and lives to be as ecologically friendly as possible.
Produced by The Mercury News with the cooperation and support of the California Consumer Events Division of the California Newspapers Partnership and the City of San Jose, the two-day Greenfair Silicon Valley will be the biggest green event in Silicon Valley.

Greenemotor will be there to raffle off a free scooter!

Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and Native Roots all performed at the hastily arranged event at The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. Gore intended to host a concert on the National Mall - but US congress banned it. The former US Vice President tells CNN, "A couple of global warming naysayers used parliamentary tricks in the Congress to block (a concert on the National Mall).
