Post General Forum Rules
These rules are enforced at ALL TIMES!

Rule Summary: Respect other forum members by keeping all content work safe, not spamming, and keeping common sense when posting.

Detailed Rules

    Offensive and Illegal Materials
  1. Posting of illegal material, activities, software, etc. is not allowed. Links provided to locations that deal with any such activity are expressly forbidden. Do not post messages that violate Federal, State, or Local laws or anything that violates a copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or is bound by an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). Remember, our members are of all ages. The content posted in these forums should be suitable for all ages and all locations (work, school, etc.).
  2. Excessive foul language will not be tolerated. There are filters active to catch some foul language, but you are expected to be civilized when posting. If a thread contains cursing in the subject line, it will be immediately deleted, regardless of its author. Any attempts to bypass the 'swear-filter' by using variants of swearwords (misspellings, missing letters/leet speak) will be view as a violation of the forum rules.
  3. No derogatory comments regarding greenemotor.com, other members, admins, nor it's forum policy. Debates are strongly encouraged if you think something needs to be changed or need improvement, but do so in a civilized manor.
  4. No Attacks/Retaliation of any kind against a member, or group of members. This includes, but not limited to, gossip, bigotry, flaming, and racism.
  5. No Pornographic Material or nudity. Any sexually oriented/nudity imagery, links or references to such content will not be tolerated.
  6. There will be no discussion of drugs at any time. Any imagery or links to such content will not be tolerated.
  7. No posting to advertise, recruit, or berate any company(ies) or organization(s).
  8. Do not try to buy or sell anything here. This is NOT a legal place to do such business.
  9. There will be no posting of religious/political-related materials or posting of religious/political-related promotional text on the forums. More often than not, this will end up in a flame war, so if you want to have a discussion about religion, go talk to your priest/minister/rabbi/etc.

    General Posting Rules
  1. Spamming (a.k.a post padding) occurs when a user posts irrelevant, off-topic, or meaningless threads/topics in order to raise their post count or just be obnoxious. While everyone has his or her own opinions on a topic, make sure yours is actually useful to the discussion before you post about it.
  2. Posts in a particular forum need to stay on topic. If you want to talk about something that is drastically removed from the topic of a forum, please take it to the Everything Else Forums. The Everything Else Forums was set up and designed for members to discuss issues not related to a specific forum, post or thread.
  3. Do not create any posts or post any images that will cause the post/message to use a horizontal scroll bar to view the entire post/message when viewed by a monitor with a 1024 x 768 Resolution. Common reasons for this rule being broken are images that are too large, or URL links that are too long.

These Rules have been adapted from Maximum PC's Forums and Fight For the Future's Forums
